Hi there! I’m Trisha, the heart behind Gingersnap Sweet Shop. Growing up, my dad called me his “little Gingersnap,” inspired by It’s a Wonderful Life. In the movie, there’s a moment where a father gives his daughter flower petals, representing love and the little joys in life. Before big challenges or games, my dad would give me petals, reminding me to stay connected and appreciate the sweet moments, even when things got tough. That’s why I chose the flower for my shop’s logo—it represents the sweetness of life that I want to share through my desserts. 

 

Baking has always been a part of my life. I remember coming home from school at a young age, eager to make chocolate chip cookie dough from memory, no recipe needed. And family gatherings at my grandparents’ house, especially during the holidays, were all about cookies. My grandma would create the most amazing cookie spreads, and those happy memories are something my mom and aunts have kept alive. I started Gingersnap Sweet Shop to honor those traditions and share the joy of baking with others. 

 

At Gingersnap Sweet Shop, I believe in celebrating every moment, big or small, and cherishing the connections we have with each other. I hope my desserts help bring a little sweetness to your everyday celebrations.
